Our monthly maintenance contract is suitable for sites with electric fences between 100m and 4000m.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is an Electric Fence safe?
Electric fences work by sending a high-voltage electrical pulse around a multi-wire perimeter electric fence. The power involved can reach up to 10,000 volts, and the current is limited to a safe SABS approved level.
How long does it take to get a quote?
Our turnaround time for Quotes are generally 2 days and quotes are valid for 30 days.
During Loadshedding, What happens to my Electric Fence?
To ensure that your electric fence continues to work when load shedding kicks in, you need to have a back-up battery installed and working. Vikings electric fences come with a battery backup included in the installation.
Typically, a high-quality, rechargeable battery can keep your electric fence active for 8-10 hours after the lights go out. As an extra precaution, check that your batteries are in perfect working order. Frequent surges, as we have been experiencing all too often, can take a serious toll on your back-up battery. Test, and replace if necessary, to ensure that you don’t want to get caught out when the next outage strikes.
How much does a new Gate Motor cost?
A brand new gate motor can set you back anywhere from about R7500 to R12 000 depending on the size, weight and type of gate on your premises. Contact our team to discuss an option that would best suit your property.
